Dr. Pranab Chatterjee
Dr. Pranab Chatterjee is a PhD candidate in International Health, specializing in Global Disease Epidemiology and Control at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Baltimore, USA. He has a strong background in epidemiology, global disease control, and public health research, with advanced training in clinical and preventive medicine, including community and tropical medicine, as well as humanitarian health. Dr. Chatterjee has proven expertise in managing large-scale research projects, clinical trials, and surveillance systems.
Prior to joining Johns Hopkins in 2020, Dr. Chatterjee served as a Public Health Scientist at the Translational Global Health Policy Research Cell, Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. In addition, he held the position of Scientist at the Division of Epidemiology, ICMR-National Institute of Cholera and Enteric Diseases, Kolkata, and worked as a Senior Research Associate at the Public Health Foundation of India, Delhi.
