Mr Dilip Ghosh, a seasoned administrator, concluded his distinguished service in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) in 2012. His tenure encompassed impactful roles within Health and Family Welfare, Panchayats and Rural Development, and Cottage and Small Scale Industries departments. Dilip led pivotal projects on rural decentralisation and livelihood in West Bengal, supported by both government and external agencies. Notably, he contributed as a member of the Fourth State Finance Commission of West Bengal from 2013 to 2016. Presently, he conducts field-level studies across Indian states for UNICEF, focusing on rural local bodies. Dilip’s insightful writings on governance and human development appear in print media. His expertise now enriches the Governing Council of CPHR-MANT.
