With over twelve years of dedicated engagement in community development across West Bengal, Nagaland, and Arunachal Pradesh, Anirban is a seasoned professional known for his unwavering commitment to grassroots initiatives. Collaborating extensively with NGOs, CSOs, and SHGs, he has honed his expertise in project planning, implementation, monitoring & evaluation, budgeting, and documentation. His comprehensive skill set encompasses community mobilization, institution building, training & capacity enhancement, and adept administration & HR management.
Anirban’s passion for fostering positive change extends to a diverse array of domains including Women & Child Development, ICT4D, Designing, and Content Development. Additionally, he has made substantial contributions to Health & Hygiene Management, Nutrition, Livelihood and Entrepreneurship Development, as well as Environment & Climate Change awareness. His academic foundation includes a Post Graduate degree in Environment Management (Master in Public System Management) from the esteemed Indian Institute of Social Welfare & Business Management (IISWBM), Kolkata, under the University of Calcutta, which was completed in 2011.
Embarking on his journey with Manbhum Ananda Ashram Nityananda Trust in 2015, he was initially joined as a Project Coordinator, guiding initiatives that fostered alternative livelihoods, social mobilization, and institution building across regions. Currently, he holds the role of Assistant Director-Administration, overseeing both programmatic endeavors and administrative functions with equal dedication.
Before this chapter, he served as a Project Coordinator at Development Research Communication & Services Centre from 2011 to 2015. His tenure here revolved around spearheading sustainable livelihood programs tailored to indigenous communities and vulnerable populations in semi-arid regions and the Sunderbans areas of West Bengal.
