Dr. Pritam Datta is a Fellow at the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy (NIPFP), New Delhi, and a health and development economist specializing in public finance, health economics, labour markets, and industrial development. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University and has previously worked with PHFI, ISID, and TERI. Dr. Datta has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and contributed to policy reports for WHO, USAID, and the Government of India. He teaches at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade and serves on the Institutional Review Board at IFMR. His research continues to inform national policy discussions.
