Martin Otanez, PhD, is the Chair and Associate Professor in the Anthropology Department at the University of Colorado Denver. With a rich educational background, including degrees from the University of Ibadan, the Institute for Social Studies, and the University of California Irvine, Martin’s work focuses on labor issues, corporate accountability, and cannabis research. He produces the web series “Getting High on Anthropology” and leads digital storytelling projects to reduce stigma around drug use.
