Subhash Pokhrel, PhD, is a Professor of Health Economics and the Lead of the Health Economics Research Group (HERG). With extensive experience spanning the UK, EU, and several LMICs, he has spearheaded numerous large-scale, multi-disciplinary research projects. Subhash’s work focuses on enhancing health systems and research systems, significantly influencing public health policies. He co-designed the WHO-Brunel Framework Agreement to strengthen NHRSs and led the EQUIPT project for tobacco control decision support. As a member of various external committees, he has shaped public health investments.
